Welcome to Churches of Christ in Asia directory

We hope that you find this directory helpful in locating the churches of Christ around Asia. Our primary goal is to list only those conservative congregations who at their best are following the examples of the New Testament church. However, our investigative prowess may come short; so it would still depend on you to always double check the listed churches before joining them on their services.

We do hope that you?ll find your way to the nearest congregation wherever you may be located in Asia. We will try our best to make sure that this directory would be up-to-date and that the locations of each congregations would be easier to find.

REQUEST FOR LISTING

If you find that your congregation is not yet listed, you can submit a listing. You must register an account first before you can do that or login if you have an existing account with us. Please complete the provided form for your listing. Once we received your request, we will immediately send you a confirmation email.

PLEASE NOTE: This directory strictly observe what apostle Peter said, ?If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. – 1 Peter 4:11 (NKJV)

What is the Church of Christ?

NON-DENOMINATIONAL

The church of Christ is a non-denominational church. It is the only church built by Christ and purchased with His own blood. No one has the right to established their own church as a divine approved institution but only the Christ. Apostle Paul rebuked the church at Corinth when they were having a religious division in 1 Corinthians 1:13. Nowadays, there are too many denominational churches being established but they don?t have scriptural basis to support their establishment. There is only one church which Jesus has built (Ephesians 4:4-6).

SCRIPTURAL DESIGNATION

The designation of the church is very important. This separates us from the denominational names; and identifies us as the ones belong to Christ. Christ built His church so it is by implication that the church belongs to Him. That church then is the church of Christ as identified by apostle Paul in Romans 16:16.

  • churches of Christ?-?refers to all the congregations (not denominations)
  • church of Christ?-?refers to a single congregation.
NON-INSTRUMENTAL

Christ instructed His apostles to to teach the same things He taught them to others. And he set a standard through them as to how should the church exercise their faith. This said, it is very important for Christians to base our practices and teachings from the standard which God has given us – the bible. Adding mechanical instrument in worship is a practice which is ?not exemplified? by the New Testament church. And its expediency is no where to be found in the New Testament. And so, for us today, we should not add something which Christ did not command us to do. – Revelations 22:18-19
